CFPMA became one of the members of Confederation of Packaging Machinery Association (C.O.P.A.M.A.) in April, 1994 and set up bilateral or multilateral cooperative relations with the same organizations of U.S.A., U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Australia, etc. C.O.P.A.M.A. provides chances for the associations from different countries to exchange and cooperation as well as to discuss international industry problems commonly.

Entrusted by the Chinese government, CFPMA takes the study of the whole industry and provides suggestions for the government department concerned to make the industry development plans and technical development policies, etc.

Authorized by the Chinese government department concerned, CFPMA has the right to hold international economic and technical exhibitions inside China, organize its members and related Chinese enterprises attending international exhibitions abroad.

CFPMA now has more than 1000 members and the following committees and branches: Packaging Machinery Committee, Food Machinery Committee, Technical Specialist Committee, Molded Pulp Machinery & Products Branch, Cold Food Machinery Branch, Convenient Food Machinery Branch, Beverage Filling Machinery Branch, Meat Machinery Committee, etc. The administrative departments of CFPMA are: Secretariat, Technical Consulting Service Dept., Foreign Liaison Dept. and Industrial Information Center.

CFPMA publishes bimonthly its magazine named<<World Food and Packaging Machinery>> and sets up its website in order to provide quick and specialized information for industrial enterprises and customers at home and abroad.
